Techmeetup arrives in Manchester

We had our very first Techmeetup at Manchester’s MadLab last night.

We gathered to have a chat about what is going on in Manchester and we can foster a pro-startup environment up north. It was great to hear what everyone thought with some suggestions to make techmeetup relevant for Manchester. But it wasn’t just a chat and drinks. We had some awesome speakers as well.

Prof. Terrence Fernando from Salford University gave us a talk on the ThinkLab.

Followed by a presentation by Manoj Ranaweera the man behind edocr and Techcelerate.

We were amazed to hear about all the wonderful new initiative happening in Manchester and the energy of startup over here. We will be taking a break in July but will be back in August for our second meetup. If in Manchester, do come around!
